Red Handed bills themselves as alternaporn, which at least online I've come to associate with sites with tattooed and pierced models and not much else. This site, however, is what I would actually call alterna. Anyone who has ever spent some time in the sex positive community knows that if you go to a real life event, queer, BDSM, or whatever, you will see a wide variety of people. This site has porn featuring every gender identity, body type and sexual orientation I've heard of, including (and this surprised me) a straight het guy. I was happy to see that inclusivity, since again drawing from real life experience, the het male is often vilified (or at least made fun of), but this site is truly, happily sex positive. Anyhow. Red Handed is run by Boots Boccaleone, a lesbian who produces the videos and photos you'll see on the site. In the free area, you can find some sample videos including one of Boots talking about the premise of this project, while continuously chasing her cat off the bed. It's that kind of "amateur" where it's like you're sitting in someone's bedroom chatting. Each episode (6 are put up monthly) has both a gallery of still images, and either Quicktime or WMV format video. You can view the whole thing or view smaller clips. In the preview, you can see a screenshot of each episode and read the description of the scene. Each one starts with the model clothed and just chatting with Boots about their sexual identity, fantasies and experiences. Then we get to the masturbating part, and it's obviously very real. Each person shot is in control of how they do it, which when you see the variety here, is apparent. I found myself going through the site and watching the interview segments of each scene first. The high quality video in Quicktime streamed nicely, with no stopping to rebuffer or anything annoying. To give you some examples of content, you'll find Violet Palmer, a naturally huge-breasted and sweet natured sex worker; Slide Seymour, giving an overview of hir truly original porn shoots, then masturbating while wearing a restrictive body brace; girl-next-door type Jem confessing that she has a spreadsheet of the 160+ men she's had sex with; a crossdresser named Bridgette who remains shy until after the tied-up orgasm. There are currently 13 episodes online, each with runtimes between 15 and 45 minutes in this very new site. Now when it comes to joining the site, there are quite a number of options: you can join for photos only, pay more for photos and low resolution video, or pay the highest membership type for the high res 640x480 video. It's nice to have options, since connections and preferences vary. Oh, I also recommend checking out Boots' blog, she's an interesting writer.
